Who Should Apply To Become a Boma NZ Education Fellow?

Canterbury is a thriving, developing region and we need great educators who want to make purposeful impact to match this momentum!

If you’re a Canterbury-based secondary school educator—such as a teacher, principal, deputy principal, head of department, we want to hear from you!

As an applicant, you’ll need to:

  • provide evidence of impact you’ve personally made in the education sector, such as:

    • making a difference not just to students but to changing the nature of learning

    • using digital technologies to create new ways of thinking and learning

    • contributing to learning across your network and beyond boundaries

  • provide a letter from your principal or board chair which supports your participation in the Boma NZ Education Fellows.

  • provide evidence that you can maximise learning through innovative, forward-thinking teaching practices while using digital technology and resources.

  • state your commitment to making a significant and long-lasting contribution to students beyond your own school in ways never thought possible.
