What we do

We deliver transformational events, festivals, executive programmes, workshops, and experiences, all geared towards tangible actions and outcomes.

Immersive three-day experiences which bring together key social, economic, technological, and environmental trends, so you can take charge of your role in the future we’re creating—leaving you confident to lead purposefully in the face of the dramatic changes affecting our world.

A free, year-long programme—running in 2019, 2020, and 2021—designed to help 10 educators bring exponential thinking, technology, and innovative leadership into their schools. Powered by Christchurch Airport!

These two-day events are deep-dives into specific industry-related trends and new ways technology and disruption are affecting the status quo.

This year, we’re hosted Grow 2019: the Boma NZ Agri Summit in Christchurch, which focused on some of the big questions on the horizon, future farming trends, exponential change, new business models and product pathways impacting the food and fibre sector across New Zealand.

The world is changing faster than ever before. What actionable steps can we develop to keep pace with this change? How do we make a difference in our world to change the world? How do we thrive in a future that looks nothing like the past?

Join us in spring 2019 for the Boma New Zealand Summit. You won't just come away challenged to change the world. You'll come away empowered to change your world.

Register your interest for our Boma New Zealand Summit.

Our Boma NZ Impact Dinners are designed to encourage participants to listen, learn, and inspire one another through meaningful dialogue around a particular topic.

Supported by a specialist facilitator, these nationally run, intimate dinners are a chance for you to delve deeper and step into our Boma New Zealand network.

We host Impact Dinners around New Zealand on a quarterly basis. Check out some of the feedback we’ve had from our previous dinners:

“Real and important—forums like this allow topics to be explored as just who you are, not what your job is. Refreshing. Thank you.”

Stay tuned to our What’s On page for the dates of our next round of dinners, or register your interest in hosting one in your area.

The Boma New Zealand team work closely with you to help you find the right speaker for your customized event. Our speakers focus on areas and topics that deliver transformational learning experiences. They constantly challenge their audiences to think about the "So What? Now What?" of a future that looks nothing like the present.

Please visit our faculty page to view the speakers currently involved with Boma New Zealand.

At Boma, we work with organisations and institutions to help them make sense of the vectors of change coming their way, so that they can be empowered to make intentional, intelligent decisions about the kind of future they're creating.

Whether it's a one-day workshop with your board, an ongoing programme with your senior leadership team, or strategic input into your learning and development strategy, our offerings will support you to feel confident and excited about what lies ahead.
