2020 was an extraordinary year for Māori. Join us to find out why.
In 2020, for the first time since Aotearoa New Zealand’s colonisation, Māori achieved better social outcomes than non-Māori.
And Sacha McMeeking — Ngāi Tahu, head of Aotahi - University of Canterbury’s School of Māori and Indigenous Studies, co-founder of Tū Māia and co-director of Māori Futures Academy (Tokona Te Raki) — has a compelling hypothesis for why that was.
Brought to you by Boma NZ in partnership with Global Women, join us for a free webinar on Friday, 10 September (NZST), hosted by Boma NZ founder and CEO Kaila Colbin.
You’ll hear what was different about that remarkable year — and what we can learn from it to help us build a better future.
When: 8-9 a.m. NZST Friday, 10 September
(That's 10 p.m. GMT+2 / 4 p.m. EDT Thursday, 9 September)
Note: registrations for this webinar are now full, but you can sign-up for livestream-only access and receive reminders before kick-off using the button below.
