Boma is committed to delivering safe events. We follow best practices suggested by the New Zealand health authorities and work closely with our suppliers to prioritise health and wellbeing.

Our comprehensive health and safety plans ensure you can book with certainty and attend with confidence. For details on event refunds and transfers related to illness, please see our refund policy.

The following practices are in place for all Boma events.

We ask for your help in ensuring our events stay safe through these measures:

Masks

We welcome wearing a mask for the duration of your event. Here's more info on our mask rationale.

Food and drink

Food and drink will be self-served — please use hand sanitiser (provided) before serving your food. Also, please wash your hands regularly throughout your programme.

Venue

In addition to air conditioning within each venue, we have industrial-grade air purifiers running for the entirety of each programme. We have regular breaks throughout the day for you to go outside and get fresh air.

COVID-19

If you are a household contact, please do not attend your programme. If you have come into contact with someone in the week before your event who has tested positive, even if you’re not a household contact, please take a RAT each day before you arrive.

When to stay home

If you are experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness, such as gastro, flu, or COVID-19, or are a COVID-19 household contact, please take one for the team and stay home! Let us know and we’ll get you sorted with an alternative programme.

If you need to get in touch, flick us an email or reach out via our live chat.
